**Objective**:To become integral part of Finance team by assisting in month-end and year-end closes, creating timely and accurate financial reports and statements, providing variance analyses and serving as a resource for accounting questions to management.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:**Primary Functions**:- Record cash receipts on a daily basis- Reconcile bank and system transactions on a daily basis- Process tour expenses/costs payments on a daily basis- Reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis- Participate in month-end close process- Perform bank account reconciliations**Additional Responsibilities**:- Assist Supervisor in all assignments, making sure that all members of the Finance Department have the proper resources and support- Work extended hours during busy season or on special projects as needed- Additional responsibilities may be assigned**Standard Department Member Responsibilities**:- Facilitate and/or perform training of staff members as requested- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation- Foster communication within the department, with other departments and with management- Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures so as to serve as an effective staff member- Support company policies and management decisions with a sense of urgency and professionalism- Seek out and participate in internal and external programs that facilitate personal and professional growth- Identify and discuss professional growth goals with manager- Write and deliver self-performance appraisal to manager on a bi-annual basis**Requirements**:
