Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Objective: To support the quality assurance team in ensuring the consistent production ofhigh-quality prefabricated modules at Domo Modular's manufacturing facility. This role involves contributing to the implementation and maintenance ofquality systems, conducting inspections and tests, and identifyingopportunities for improvement. Responsibilities: Assistin maintaining and improving the effectiveness of the Quality Management System(QMS). Conductregular inspections and tests of materials, components, and finished modules toensure compliance with specifications and standards. Collect and analyze quality data, including defect rates, rework rates,and other relevant metrics. Identify trends and patterns to pinpoint rootcauses of quality issues. Assist in the investigation and resolution of non-conformingmaterials, processes, or products. Contribute to the creation andimplementation of corrective actions. Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives,suggesting and implementing solutions to improve quality, efficiency, andproductivity. Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections, tests, andnon-conformance reports. Work effectively with other departments (e.g., production,engineering, purchasing) to address quality concerns and promote a culture ofquality throughout the organization. Assist in the development and delivery of training materialsrelated to quality assurance procedures and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor'sdegree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field. 2-4 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferablywithin a manufacturing environment. Understanding of quality control methodologies and principles. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analyticalskills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Bilingual (Spanish and English). Desired Skills: Experience with ISO 9001or other quality management standards. Experience in theconstruction or prefabricated building industry.
