About the Role The GDS Optimisation Manager will optimize the relationships between SiteMinder and hotels using the SiteMinder GDS product. The Manager will collaborate with hotels to develop and implement GDS strategies that drive increased reservations and overall value, while providing proactive best‑practice support—including rate loading and content review. What You Will Do Provide high‑quality optimisation management to SiteMinder’s GDS hotel customers. Qualify hotel needs to develop training, strategy, and audit plans. Deliver high‑standard GDS training via telephone, Skype, and classroom sessions (onsite or offsite as required). Assist the Specialist Services Team with rate checking, rate loading, and best practices. For VIP clients, work with Key Optimisation Managers to solve training and/or strategy needs. Serve as the point of contact for technical optimisation management for GDS hotel customers. Resolve escalated support issues from VIP clients and top accounts for all GDS‑related queries. Engage with GDS providers and build relationships for technical assistance and product development. Escalate product feedback, including product change requests, technical enhancements, and system capability issues, to the Product Team. Manage and prioritise daily caseloads effectively, ensuring trainings are scheduled and delivered on time in accordance with SiteMinder’s service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure all issues are logged accurately in the CRM system (Salesforce) and closed in a timely manner. What You Have Understanding of how to help hotels grow revenue through GDS strategy implementation and result monitoring. Experience in the hotel/travel technology industry with knowledge of all major GDSs. Previous experience working with CRS systems, particularly Sabre Hospitality. Ability to deliver training and optimisation sessions with high energy, enthusiasm, and customer engagement. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting an enterprise application in a KPI/SLA‑driven environment. High level of self‑sufficiency and autonomy. Fluency in English; Spanish preferred.
