Jarvio is the agentic workflow automation platform powering eCommerce brands. Think Cursor meets N8N, custom fit to the data-heavy eCommerce industry. We're building out our Mexico City hub and you will be on site leading a small growing team. As Head of Engineering at Jarvio, you'll be a core member of our leadership team, driving the technical vision and scaling our engineering organisation. You'll lead an ambitious team, foster a culture of speed and innovation, and ensure our platform is performant, reliable, and secure for the e-commerce brands who depend on us. We're building the system of intelligence for eCommerce brands - starting with Amazon. Our platform combines AI, automation, and workflows to help brands grow faster without scaling headcount. Jarvio is backed with $1.8m in funding by leading investors including Accel, Baseline VC, Darius Cubed, Enterprise Ireland & NDRC, as well as senior executives from Amazon, Meta, Target, MongoDB, and Wayflyer. This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor, set the engineering direction, and directly shape how thousands of brands operate day-to-day. Responsibilities Define and execute Jarvio's technical strategy in alignment with product goals. Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent in Mexico City. Oversee design, development, and deployment of scalable systems. Collaborate with Product, Commercial, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-impact features. Implement best practices in software development, including agile methodologies and code reviews. Ensure cloud infrastructure is robust, scalable, and automated. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in software engineering. 3+ years of proven technical leadership experience. Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Analytical, data-driven decision-making skills.
