Maxeon Solar Technologies is a global leader in solar innovation.Built from 35 years of boundary-pushing solar innovation, Maxeon designs, manufactures, and sells industry leading SunPower branded solar products.Maxeon is Powering Positive Change TM every day with a brilliant, passionate and driven team of more than 5,000 people globally.We hold ourselves to a higher standard, striving for the highest integrity, safety, and quality.We thrive together as a global team, embracing our diverse backgrounds to make a positive impact on the world.Join us in POWERING POSITIVE CHANGE**Family Description**:Responsible for working on special assignments and development projects.Works from developed test plans and written or verbal instructions.Constructs, troubleshoots and tests prototype assemblies, as well as assists engineers in the development process and test phase of prototype systems.May also Responsible for creating PCB design layouts using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools.Works from schematic, net list, mechanical and additional engineering documents / instruction.Creates all relevant fabrication and assembly documentation and tooling required to build the PCB and support manufacturing process engineers.**Knowledge and Technical Skills**:Learns to use basic scientific or engineering concepts within a designated functional area.Develops knowledge in processes and procedures specific to job function, e.g. process/ equipment qualification and development PCR, FMEA, DOE, SPC, runcards, EPR, Tool Lockdown, PV system design and construction.**Complexity**:Works on problems of limited scope.Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can readily be obtained.Builds stable working relationships internally.Applies problem- solving techniques to provide insight into root cause.**Teamwork, Collaboration and Influence**:Organizes and communicates ideas through a variety of channels.Gains trust and support of peers.Demonstrates a desire to learn and develop.Actively participates in team and group work activities.Collaborates within process/area of responsibility.Regularly exposed to customer requirements and issues that affect customer satisfaction.**Initiative**:Ability to perform assignments under regular supervision.Seeks guidance, as necessary, from more experienced personnel.Creative Thinking and Innovation:Applies well-understood solutions and technologies to solve problems within project scope and constraints.Applies SunPower values to all aspects of work.**Impact and Results Focus**:Delivers quality work in timely manner.Recognizes economic aspects of the job and relationship to needs of SunPower's customers.**Minimum Education and Experience**:B.S. degree in Engineering and 0+ years of related experienceOR equivalent combination of education and years of related experienceEqual Employment Opportunity
