JAC Products has an opportunity for a Material Planner/Customer Service Coordinator to join our team in **Pedro Escobedo, Queretaro, Mexico.** In this role, you will be responsible for planning activities pertaining to production schedule creation and maintenance, material ordering, vendor management, receiving and inventory control to meet customer requirements.**What You'll Do**:- Responsible for buffer calculations, weekly follow-up on buffer fluctuation, and maintaining calculated buffer in inventory.- Ensures that all material planning and customer service-related activities in the office and on the production floor are carried out in a safe manner.- Updates and maintains weekly production schedule by line and schedule attainment, completes weekly cycle counts accurately and maintains repetitive schedules to the latest revisions.- Maintaining an accurate 6 month forecast to suppliers and updating supplier releases in MRP and Supply Web.- Manage receipt of material at receiving, entry accuracy in MRP system and proper receiving inspection quality checks are being performed in accordance to the product's process control plan (PCP).- Sustaining accurate parameter in MRP system (Lead Time, Safety Stock, Shrink, etc), reviewing each BOM in the MRP system for accuracy, and confirming the process flow and pay points by walking them on the shop floor.- Effectively supports and understands the JAC Products Development System (JPDS) and overall launch responsibility.- Train team members and operators on proper receiving processes, cycle counts, and production reporting to attainment.**Skills**:- Knowledge of MS Office Suite programs- Ability to analyze and assess data and make projections based on historical data- Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to multi-task- Highly organized- Strong communication skills - both written & oral- Ability to identify urgent or emerging problems, develop alternative corrective actions, and engage appropriate colleagues in the timely implementation of corrective actions.**Preferred Education/Experience**:- Bachelor's Degree in materials/inventory/procurement management or the equivalent/relevant experience.- APICS certification is preferredJAC Products has been a pioneer in the Tier I automotive space for over 50 years and continues to test the limits of functional exterior trim products.We use advanced engineering techniques and cutting-edge technology to design products that enhance the style and utility of vehicles.JAC Products has operation or production capabilities on four continents and continues to expand our presence in North America and globally.JAC Products is an equal opportunity employer and gives equal consideration for employment to qualified applicants.LI-HK1
