As an Account Director (Grouper within the same client) at Monks, you will be at the forefront of managing and nurturing relationships with a portfolio of high-profile clients. You will lead a team of Account Leads and Managers, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Your role will be essential in guiding clients toward achieving their business objectives while fostering innovation and collaboration within your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with client goals and drive business growth, ensuring that all projects reflect the client's brand vision and objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as their strategic partner and trusted advisor.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers and Directors, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.
  • Oversee the execution of multiple programs and campaigns, ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met while maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for accounts, using insights to drive improvements and strategic adjustments.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including creative, strategy, and production, to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with client objectives.
  • Manage financial aspects of accounts, including forecasting, budget allocation, and ensuring profitability while meeting client expectations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, using this knowledge to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and new business, supporting the pitch process and fostering relationships with potential clients.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in account management or client services within a marketing, advertising, or digital agency environment, with a proven track record in managing large accounts.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, demonstrating outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in developing strategic account plans, with a deep understanding of client needs and market opportunities.
  • Proficiency in managing complex projects and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting and financial management related to account performance.
