Your Role

As the Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in executing marketing strategies and supporting day-to-day operations. Working closely with the Marketing Director, you will help drive brand awareness, enhance engagement, and promote our services across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Design: Assist in creating engaging content for social media, email marketing campaigns, monthly newsletters, and blog posts. Utilize Canva or similar design tools to produce visually appealing graphics.
  • Social Media Management: Maintain an active presence on various social media platforms, post regularly, monitor engagement, and help grow the firm's online reach.
  • Data Entry & Reporting: Track performance metrics, maintain marketing databases, and generate reports using Excel or other reporting tools.
  • Email Marketing: Draft and schedule email campaigns targeting clients, prospects, and partners.
  • Event Support: Assist in the planning and promotion of webinars, community outreach events, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Brand Alignment: Ensure all marketing materials and communications reflect J&Y's brand voice and identity.
  • General Administrative Tasks: Provide support to the Marketing Director, including scheduling, correspondence, and document organization.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience using marketing tools such as Canva, Hootsuite, and Mailchimp.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to generate engaging content.
  • A creative mindset with strong attention to detail and a passion for digital marketing.
  • Expertise in social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
