What you will do:

Under general direction of the JCI organization and implementing systems plus manufacturing Engineering activities to have the workstreams fully implemented and able to report standard cost and perpetual inventory.

The Program Manager will lead Manufacturing Operating Systems implementation for all chillers BU; maintain ownership on managing cross-functional team planning and execution aimed to meet their respective deliverables on a sufficient and timely manner ensuring Operating System Program progress to overall master plan; and, provide continual updates to JCI – Chillers Leadership stakeholders on Chillers workstreams implementation to master plan, with full use of an escalation process to request leadership support on program issues not resolved.

How you Will do it:

  • Provide leadership and guidelines for employees for the employees to meet and achieve the JCI standards / policies, acting and following the ethics principles.
  • Fully responsible for implementing and maintaining the system updated for all manufacturing / Engineering enrichment fields, Materials, finance, and all parameters needed for the proper ERP implementation of the workstreams.
  • Lean Manufacturing principles to achieve standardize work at the manufacturing plants
  • Evaluate all current processes at the manufacturing plant to develop standards
  • Create Manufacturing BOM’s
  • Create Manufacturing Routings
  • Calculate the cycle times needed for meeting the customer tack times
  • Validate all manufacturing process to meet the current ergonomic standards
  • Identify process improvements and implement those at the proper locations
  • Develop proper documentation for people meeting the standard processes.
  • Create standards for routings
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing tools for improvements and cost savings
  • Validate drawings, vs current production product / process.
  • ECR monitoring and validation
  • Responsible for leading projects related to Continuous Improvement and Cost reduction efforts in accordance with Plant Management goals.
  • ERP - Uses the ERP system to manage and identify potential SCM disruption / interruptions if applicable develop long and short-term corrective actions.
  • Manage occasionally tools such as Excel, Access, in performing problem solving, while leveraging the ERP system as the primary tool in day-to-day operations.
  • Provides management direction and oversight to include overseeing day to day operations when is applicable.
  • Determine critical global businesses capabilities needed to support business objectives and strategies in the supplier scheduling area and define the processes required to enable those capabilities.
  • Responsible to drive standardization of processes enabled by standard IT solutions to achieve business efficiencies and critical business capabilities across BE integrated supply chain.
  • High capacity and experience for problem solving and analytics skills.
  • High comprehension of the ERP modules and transactions.
  • Full understanding of the supply chain logic and methodologic VS ERP
  • Experience working with IT implementing ERP systems


 

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study
  • 8+ years of Management experience
  • 8 + years of Manufacturing experience
  • ERP system implementation active participation
  • Must be able to analyze and interpret complex technical procedures, business periodicals, and journals as well as write reports and procedure manuals.
  • Degree in Business or equivalent field. MBA preferred though not required. APICS Certification preferred though not required.
  • In-depth knowledge of computerized integrated information systems (manufacturing, materials management, production planning, procurement, finance and distribution) and a superior understanding of manufacturing material flow in a plant.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
  • Must be a proactive change agent and possess leadership skills to build and maintain a team-oriented environment.
  • Must have solid interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate staff and to interact with various departments throughout the organization.
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations and supporting business processes and the ability to effectively communicate and drive change in a manufacturing environment, across levels in the organization and extending to internal and external partners, is critical.
