We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as Government Affairs and Public Policy Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
A. Monitor pending legislation and other legislative activities and report such activities to the client, including:
• The preparation of comments on public policies, bills, legislation, or regulations in force or working on being adopted in The Countries, as the circumstances require.
• Conduct research on regulatory and public policy issues in The Countries.
• Follow up on regulatory processes regarding digital services and exponential technologies in The Countries.
• Prepare periodic reports and analysis by email, videoconference, or instant messaging to be agreed between the Parties on documents regarding relevant public policy issues.
• Participate and represent client's public policy positions before relevant Chamber(s) of Commerce and industrial associations, make comments and follow-up on ongoing processes.
• Attend meetings agreed between the parties and respond to requests made by the client within a reasonable term and in any case within the times established by the parties according to the type of request.
• Preparation of research on public policies and regulatory positions on the digital
sector of comparative law, as well as technology applications in prioritized industries.
• Preparation of presentations, narratives, and papers to accompany client's public policy campaigns.
• Coordination of projects with public sector allies, chambers of commerce, academia and non-governmental organizations led by the client.
• Prepare documentary support for internal communication of the area of Government Affairs and Public Policies of the client.
• Provide intel for the client to conduct internal research on potential bills, provide updates on amendments to bills, and provide other insight to the client's Cloud GAPP team that may be necessary to develop public policy strategies.

B. Specific monitoring on Cloud pending legislation and other legislative activities and report such activities to Google, including:
• Advise on key privacy, security, data, and content related issues for the client's Cloud.
• Support the formation of public policy and regulations around Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, ICT Public Procurement,
Finance and Health technology regulations.
• Contribute to develop, coordinate, and manage public policy content to communicate client's Cloud posture on critical regulatory issues aligned to national and regional contexts.
• Support client's Cloud engagement with internal stakeholders in Engineering, Product Management, Legal, Marketing, Policy, PR, and Sales to help ensure that our products and services address the expectations of regulatory authorities in SPLA.
