Reporting to Sr Design Manager, you as a Test Engineer will be responsible to design, develop, modify and evaluate options and make sound design recommendations to fulfill requirements.
Assesses results for applicability, validity and conformance with design specifications.
Performs technical assignments of related tasks that are typically a focused portion of a larger project, under general supervision.
About Job:
- Work with Validation Product Engineer to identify testing required for each new product, Modification or Legacy prod.- Create Test requests and Directly interface with internal and external customers to prepare for and complete test requisition.- Coordinate testing while in progress.
Serve as liaison back to LF Engineering to report status and incidents.- Summarize testing and create reports for internal and external customers in proper formats.- Works on test set ups following test procedures, drawings, schematics and specifications.- Lead decisions to balance current changes in customer's testing specifications, LF standards, and international standards.
Make updates or changes to internal specifications as necessary.- Location: Piedras Negras, Coahuila.
About You:
- Bachelor or university degree in Engineering Mechanical or Electrical.- 4+ years of experience.- Basic Knowledge of solid models and engineering drawings.- Knowledge of Statistical Techniques, Reliability testing, and Design of Experiments.- Experience in Automotive Electrical Component Design or Product Validation would be an asset.- Maintenance and troubleshooting skills for environmental equipment.- English: minimum 85% (writing, reading and conversational).- Knowledge of techniques to solve problems.- Knowledge of statistical techniques and design of experiments.- Core tools knowledge (FMEA, CP, APQP, PPAP) would be an asset.
