We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Avionics Systems Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team.
As a Systems Verification Engineer you will be responsible for the verification and validation of avionics systems to ensure they meet all specified requirements and standards.
This role requires a strong understanding of verification engineering principles, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute verification and validation plans for avionics systems, including hardware and software components.
- Design and implement test cases and procedures to verify system functionality, performance, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct system-level testing, including integration, regression, and acceptance testing.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, test reports, and verification matrices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754).
- Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project planning activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Coordinate with project managers to track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present verification status reports to stakeholders and management.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members to achieve project goals.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in electronic systems integration, testing or hardware/software testing.
- Proficiency in verification and validation tools and methodologies.
- Experience with system integration and testing.
- Experience with test frameworks and automated testing tools.
- Hands-on lab experience with electronic systems and test equipment.
- Demonstrated leadership in verification activities, including leading verification teams or projects.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
**Desired Qualifications**
- Knowledge of software development processes and programming languages (e.g., C, C++).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Bash).
- Understanding of safety-critical systems and reliability engineering.
- Experience with aviation data transfer/communication standards: ARINC 664, Ethernet.
- Knowledge of avionics systems, including navigation, communication, and flight control systems.
- Certification in project management.
- Experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
