Requisition ID: 37390- Job Location(s): Apodaca, MXDanfoss is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. You will need to have outstanding interpersonal communication skills to deal with customers, co-workers and suppliers. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be part of the project team that is responsible of a new production line. First you will contribute to the approval process for all new materials for the scroll compressors production line. You will also contribute to the development of the new Equipment. You will interact with customers and certification notified body.
As part of your job, you will be able to progress in the various areas of the workshop as a multi-skilled worker on industrial processes and in liaison with Purchasing, Process & Logistics.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Communication with suppliers about Quality Requirements for each PPAP
- Follow-up with suppliers about PPAP Progress
- Analysis of quality documentations from suppliers
- Coordination with local Quality Inspection team and alignment with Suppliers
- Establish the flow for PPAP parts (storage, disposition, etc.)
- Able to analyze nonconformance responses from suppliers (PPAP/Mass Production)

**-New Equipments development**:

- Leading the purchasing of new equipments linked with Quality (CMM, measurement tools, etc)
- Participation of test bench development
- Participation of Equipments reception

**- Quality System implementation**:

- Follow-up / participation of PFMEA & Control plan of this new Equipments
- Preparation for certification (UL, IATF,..)

**- Leading customer communication**:

- With support from Customer Quality, you will prepare customers PPAP file
- Preparation of Customer Audit,
- Support of SAP implementation for this new production line

**Background & Skills**:

- Engineering degree
- 5+ years of professional experience in an industrial environment (automotive)
- Good understanding of Quality deliverables for APQP projects.
- Good understanding of relevant products & manufacturing processes
- Able to lead technical discussions with suppliers/Engineering
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and coworkers from China and France.
- Good communication skills - Regular meetings with Suppliers
- SAP system knowledge
- Data oriented
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Fluent in English language
- Able to travel to China/France for week**s**
