About the role:
The purpose of this role is to develop and drive a sustainable business for the Tequila category and Latin America markets with an emphasis on energy, carbon, water, and waste. In addition to support packaging, regenerative agriculture & and wider sustainability initiatives. Embedding the accurate culture is key to the delivery of the above.

This will be done by establishing a ruthless focus on our current ways of working; driving improvements and standard methodologies across Tequila, Rum, Cachaça and Mezcal sites. By working closely with the Tequila/Mezcal governance teams in Mexico, Brazil, Zacapa Rum in Guatemala, and Diageo TPOs in the Caribbean. This person will be encouraged to build excellent working relationships with representatives within the category, from each of the sites, Tequila, PUB and CCA Directors, and Global teams.

Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages:

- Graduate with 5 -10 years of environmental experience in the food or brewing/spirits industry preferred. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, supply chains, engineering, in food & beverage.- At least 5 years’ experience in a process environment.- Environmental professional - or equivalent professional qualifications preferred.- Must have a good understanding of the scale & complexity of the Tequila business and Mexico energy regulated market.- Crucial proficiency in environmental capability framework for Sustainable agriculture, Packaging, Logistics, and customer, consumer brand sustainability.- Excellent project management, program management, communication, and interpretation of sophisticated environmental data and trends.- Engagement and communication skills, the experience of mentor and influencing partners for success.- Must have good interpersonal and influencing skills.- Must be empathic and able to provide clear and concise information.- Good at networking to establish excellent relationships at all levels.- Leading people and or small teams, projects, and cross-functional team working. (Project management style)- Fluid in written and verbal Spanish and English language.-
