Your role at Clorox:
Preparation of sales & use tax returns for the US, workpapers and other indirect tax compliance by the statutory due dates. Conduct tax research and other projects as assigned.
In this role, you will:
Sales & Use tax compliance
Other indirect tax compliance (excise tax returns, business licenses, etc.)
Research indirect tax issues
Other projects as assigned
What we look for:
- Minimum: 2 - 3 yrs industry experience in accounting.
- Desirable: 2 - 3 yrs experience with indirect tax of the U.S. or any other country.
- Advanced English level (written and conversational).
- Minimum: Good technical skills including the aptitude to learn, understand and navigate US state sales & use tax laws.
- Prepare work accurately and timely with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Desirable: Ability to interact with all levels of the organization. SAP knowledge. Experience with tax research software. Experience with Vertex and OneSource.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
