Luxoft are engaged to crystalise the existing support structure into an SLA governed service, providing best-in-class foundations for the client to build upon and advance their market opportunities.

Operating from London, Hong Kong and Connecticut, the client is rapidly growing with institutional backing and a proven track record in delivering a suite of financial services to a market-leading standard.

**Responsibilities**:
Support business and technology users across three geographies (USA, UK and Hong Kong) focusing on your area of specialism within a broader full-service team
Ensure robust functioning of databases within SLAs
Work with project teams to deliver new data structures and schemas to production
Database optimization and administration
Work on continuous improvement initiatives alongside the rest of the team
Maintain production stability and resolve incidents quickly, manage problems resulting from incidents effectively and put in place solutions to improve the long term availability, uptime and other key metrics

**Skills**:
Must have
- B.S/M.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or other related courses and/or equivalent training and experience
- 5+ years' experience supporting infrastructure underpinning complex information technology systems
- Understanding of core technology in use:

- MongoDB
- PostgreSQL
- Linux
- Experience working with Git based source control management and versioning tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

Experience in Global Markets, Banking and Financial Services domain, preferably working in the buy-side
Accreditation and experience working with one of the main public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Ability to work effectively within a globally distributed team with stakeholders and development team members spread across multiple locations
