**The Requirements**
- BS / BA degree or relevant experience.
- 3-5 years of current experience in a technical operational support role supporting mission critical Microsoft servers and services, including Azure.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with both IaaS and PaaS services.
- Familiar with Azure Pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment to generate practical results and recommendations
- Experience working in virtual teams
- Flexible, coachable, self-driven, and passionate about learning.
- Help define and operationalize best practices with Azure SQL, including configuration, health monitoring, backups and availability, data security, and performance.

**Additional Desirable Skills**
- 2 - 3 years of demonstrable experience developing and executing automated tasks with Windows PowerShell.
- Experience working with Azure SQL databases or Microsoft SQL Server queries and database administration
- Experience with Microsoft build, and deployment tooling (Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps) is desirable.
- Experience with using and editing Terraform configurations
