**The Plant Support Calibration Engineer is Responsible for**:
Perform powertrain calibration EOL testing and assist in troubleshooting and issues reporting for resolution.
Support problem solving activities by analyzing EOL data with INCA, Vector CAN tools, or plant tester diagnostic tools.
Aid in change control and establishment of clean points at the assembly line.
Establish and document new requirements, best practices, and lessons learned as appropriate.
Provide regular overview summaries and detailed reports on specific assignments, including timing projections.
In site position, not remote.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent from an ABET accredited university
- 1 Year or more experience in Powertrain systems calibration development.
- Knowledge in vehicle manufacturing process at assembly line.
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines
- Understanding of CARB diagnostic regulations
- Working knowledge of calibration tools (INCA /ATI), emissions regulations, and powertrain technologies.
- Fundamental knowledge in MatLab / Simulink
- Utilizing a multi-functional tool chain, requiring familiarity with; Stellantis in-house developed calibration tools -- I-Box, DC Plot & HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) testers
- Industry standard calibration tools (ETAS INCA, MatLab, CANalyzer)
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
- Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to upper management

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Master of Science in Computer Science from an ABET accredited university
- 3+ years of experience in engine development, powertrain systems development /engine calibration /control systems development / diagnostics within the automotive industry
- Calibration process knowledge using design of experiments and advanced optimization techniques
- Knowledge/Understanding of CAN Communication protocols
