About the role:
The
**Latin America Operations Service Center (LAO SC) Acquisitions Supervisor** is responsible for the Mexico’s acquisitions operation, processes and results performed by the vendor in the Service Center. The acquisitions supervising responsibilities include monitoring daily operation in the different activities performed by the vendor, support the implementation of process changes, monitor productivity, efficiency, and quality according to GMF’s expectations. It serves as a direct link between the country operations team and the vendor management team, to define short term operational strategies and ensure that all processes are executed according to what’s established in the processes’ manuals and documentations. Additionally, it supports capacity planning calculations and supports expenditure control.
What you need:
- Education required: bachelor’s degree. - 2+ years of experience in Servicing processes: Customer Service, Back Office, Acquisitions and/or Collections processes.
- Previous experience managing a team.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Use of efficiency and productivity metrics to manage tasks.
- Influencing, leadership & negotiating kills.
- Drive for results, attention to details and advanced ability to detect opportunities, question processes and propose enhancements to increase efficiency and improve customer experience.
- Advanced decision quality.
- Ability to lead with ambiguity.
- MS Office - advanced (MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word, MS Outlook).
What you will be doing:
- Ensuring the vendor complies with operational and administrative standards according to the contract between the parties for Acquisitions activities.
- Responsible for supervising the performance and services of a vendor structure of approximately 50 employees supported through our servicing vendor.
- Relation with Mexico management team surrounding acquisitions area, activities, and procedures.
- Responsible for KPI and metric achievement related to acquisitions (e.g., Service Level, Abandon Rate, productivity, RPC, etc.) thru the definition of short and medium term operational strategies in accordance with GM Financial objectives.
- Manage implementation of changes in procedures in conjunction with the vendor, according to the country needs and process improvements.
- Developing a positive work environment with the LAO SC team, branch stakeholders and servicing vendor.
- Identify opportunities in current or new processes that make the business more efficient.
- Ensure adherence to regulations, policies and internal controls surrounding acquisitions activities.
- Support defining and aligning capacity planning for each acquisition’s activities.
- Support and ensure compliance with Business Plan definitions for acquisitions.
