Overview:
Define, manage and coordinate Human Resources policies and procedures aimed at achieving business goals and strategies, as well as strengthen the relationship with employees.
**Job Description**:
- Advising the management group in Mexico on issues related to best practices in human resources management such as: labor relations management, disciplinary actions, policies, procedures and systems, with the aim of increasing productivity and talent retention strategies.
- Implementation and monitoring of Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Conduct and follow up on investigations assigned by the VP of Human Resources when deviations from the code of conduct occur, which must be effective, detailed, objective, and provide support for the implementation of appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitoring and supporting the administrative functions of the Human Resources team under his/her responsibility: recruitment and retention, employee relations, benefits administration and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Professional development of team members through the GGS and lead it according to the situation that arises.
- Provide effective and efficient talent recruitment and retention strategies.
- Analyze the KPIs of the area to formulate strategies according to the best practices of Human Resources.
- Provide the VP of Human Resources with the KPIs of the area on a monthly basis to present proposals and strategies for these (Absenteeism, Turnover and Retention).
- Maintain constant communication with the directors, managers, supervisors of the organization in order to solve problems and suggest improvements related to personnel management.
- Present the program of annual motivational activities and budget.
- Implementation of HR projects authorized by the VP of Human Resources that involve healthy coexistence within the company (EAP, Ocean Day, annual motivational events, etc.).
- Follow up on communication for employees in Mexico about the Human Resources campaigns and organizational programs that they have.
- Establish and maintain a cordial and effective relationship with trade unions in order to reach a contractual negotiation.
- Establish and maintain effective and direct communication with the lawyers approved by the company, in order to eliminate any occupational risk.
- Conduct tenders and negotiate with insurance providers to seek better benefits for staff in issues related to Major Medical Expenses (SGMM) and Life policies.
- Propose to Regional Compensation, in conjunction with the VP of Human Resources, the best benefits for personnel in matters related to Major Medical Expenses Insurance (SGMM) and Life policies.
- Participate and follow-up together with the VP of Human Resources to the implementation of Human Resources systems that the company establishes.
- Stay up to date with labor and tax changes to comply with the guidelines set by the authorities in Mexico, ensuring that the Human Resources Mexico team is at the same level.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree and/or Engineering in Administration, Industrial Relations, Organizational Psychology or related. Knowledge: Personnel Administration, Labor Relations, Compensation, Organizational Development, Federal and State Laws of Mexico.
Experience: 5 years in Human Resources areas, carrying out personnel administrative functions, reporting of Human Resources indicators, Relations
Labor and attention to trade union issues. Required Language: Advanced English
Availability to travel: Yes (high level of travel 80% )
