**The Role**

Dematic/KION is looking for an **Workday Specialist - Focus Extend **Develops can custom pages, utilize Workday HCM’s Web Services, build customized business processes and Process Orchestrations.

**Responsibilities**

To be successful in this role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:

- Take the lead for definition and implementation of Workday Extend roadmap
- Work closely and collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for Workday Extend
- Design and deliver integrated Workday Extend solutions, in close collaboration with our Workday integration experts and HR Solutions team, and other system architects
- Run, maintain and monitor the built Extend solutions, lead upgrades as appropriate, and be a thought leader on constant improvements of the system
- Lead the built of an internal knowledge base regarding Workday Extend
- Ensure that solutions are scalable, maintainable, and meet performance requirements
- Ensure stability of technical system landscape, developments are meeting requirements, and testing is done in alignment with Global IT standards and governance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, functional specifications, test plans, and cutover activities

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field, or with several years of professional experience
- Minimum 4-5 years experience in computer programming with deep understanding of e.g. XML, XSLT, XPath, REST API, SOAP, PMP Scripting, Workday Query Language, JSON, and knowledgeable in an object-oriented programming language (preferably J2EE) **OR **minimum 4-5 years experience in Workday ecosystem as a Workday integration expert, ideally with a background in consulting, an Extend certification and knowledge of JSON and JavaScript
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- You have strong communication, intercultural and motivation skills with experience in working in an international environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn and dive into new technical areas
- With your growth-mindset and your motivation to work in a high-performance team you want to keep things moving in a very effective way
- English proficiency C1/C2
- Travel 10%
