REPORTS TO: Manager, Human Resources.

BASIC FUNCTION: Provides assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving human relations and work performance problems within organization to facilitate communication and improve employee human relations skills and work performance by performing the following duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talks informally with organization personnel and provides information related to company policy and systems.

Attends meetings of managers, supervisors, and work units to improve communication.

Investigates and resolves human relations and work-related problems that adversely affect employee morale and organization productivity.

Evaluates human relations and work-related problems and meets with supervisors and managers to determine effective resolution, such as job skill training or personal intervention, to resolve human relations issues among personnel.

Develops and conducts training to instruct organization managers, supervisors, and workers in policy and human relations skills such as supervisory skills, conflict resolution skills, interpersonal communication skills, and effective group interaction skills.

Participates in resolving employee relations issues.

To design and deliver OD and change management strategies, processes and interventions that support the Fund’s ambition to be a high performing organization; to include initiatives which foster a high-performance culture, where valuing learning, continuous improvement and diversity are the norm.

Identifies the needs of leadership capability. Implements and facilitates leadership development programs.

Works with leaders to deliver participatory, effective, and engaging facilitation and meeting design that align with department needs.

Provides information and assists managers in resolving labor relations concerns and issues.

Research issues arising out of collective bargaining negotiations.

Analyzes employee work histories to verify the sequence and accuracy of personnel actions in order to respond to labor relations liaisons' questions and concern.

Provides guidance to labor relations liaisons investigating grievances filed by employees.

Represented by collective bargaining agreements, as required.

Performs various Human Resource and Public Relations functions as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
B.A. degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. 5-10 Years experience in Human Resources. Good communication skills and training ability. Ability to work well with people. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Good organizational and planning skills.
