- Role Description:
Privacy:

- 1. Implementing privacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- 2. Conducting privacy risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- 3. Creating and delivering privacy training programs to educate employees on privacy best practices and legal requirements.
- 4. Managing data breach incidents by coordinating response efforts, conducting investigations, and ensuring timely notification to affected individuals and regulatory authorities.
- 5. Monitoring and reviewing privacy practices and data handling processes to ensure ongoing compliance and identify any gaps or areas of non-compliance.
- 6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as IT and legal, to ensure alignment and integration of privacy requirements into business processes and systems.
- 7. Keeping up-to-date with changes in privacy laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant and adapting privacy programs accordingly.
- 8. Acting as a point of contact for privacy-related inquiries from internal stakeholders, customers, and regulatory authorities.

Compliance Awareness:
1. designing and creating training materials, modules, and courses that educate employees on various compliance topics such as ethics, anti-corruption, data protection, and regulatory requirements of the three jurisdictions that affects Mexico.

2. Conducting training needs assessments: identify the specific compliance training needs of different departments or job roles within the organization (through the annual survey). This helps ensure that the training programs are tailored to address the specific compliance risks and requirements relevant to each group.

3. Delivering training sessions: responsible for delivering compliance training sessions to employees. This can be done through in-person workshops or MS Teams sessions. Ensure that the training sessions are engaging, interactive, and effectively communicate the compliance information.

4. Monitoring training completion and compliance: track and monitor employee participation and completion of compliance training programs. This includes maintaining records and documentation to demonstrate compliance with training requirements.

5. Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to compliance. This enables us to update and revise training materials as needed to reflect the latest requirements.

Communications:
1. Develop the annual communications plan in coordination with our coworkers in Calgary to address the Corporate Compliance communications needs, for instance, Compliance Talks awareness, launching of new policies or updates etc.

Compliance Services:
Lead the Mexico Compliance innovation strategy, support the team in identifying innovation opportunities, brainstorming, project planning, implementation, testing, upgrades and maintenance of all the digital assets (bots, automation, SharePoint, apps, dashboards, etc.)

Support the team in meeting its identified innovation and program optimization ideas when required.
- Deliver technical support to the team to proactively solve any issue on the tools used by the team or any digital asset and coordinate additional support when needed.
- Collaborate with Compliance Services (Canada) for consistency in progressing the Mexico Compliance innovation strategy.
- Propose new compliance innovations to enhance the existing Corporate Compliance programs.
- Maintain tracking and documentation for all the innovation projects.
- Planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of Power Apps.
- Planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of Power Automate flows.
- Support the team with SharePoint management, automation, and optimization.
- Empower the MX Compliance Team to Innovate.
- Support the team with Bot development for any Compliance Program.
- Support the team with Dashboard development and implementation.
- Support the team with the Compliance Mexico digital assets maintenance.
