BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking has had a representation office in Mexico since 1966. Since then BNP Paribas has played an important role in financing Mexico´s development into the 21st century. BNP Paribas was one of the founders of Banco Nacional de Mexico (Banamex), one of Mexico’s largest banks, at the end of the 19th century, and stayed as a minority shareholder until the nationalization of the banking system in 1982. BNP was first established in Mexico more than half a century ago also acting as an important shareholder in Banco del Atlántico until 1982. BNP and Paribas merged in 2000 to create BNP Paribas. BNP Paribas offers a wide range of financial and advisory services to its clients including large corporates, public institutions and financial institutions.

**BNP Paribas Mexico** is expanding and has started operating in 2021 a full-fledged Mexican bank to better serve its clients through local operations performing local and global markets activities. Operations out of BNP Paribas Mexico include in particular trading and market making activities on interest rate derivatives, forex (spot and forward), bonds, repos and reverse repos on MBonos, UDI and Bonos. The coverage activities focusing on Mexican corporate and institutional clients will remain and expand.

**PERIMETER OF RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**_a. Production support and services _**
- Make sure the level of service and support provided is in line with the Businesses’ needs;
- Ensure the production and reliability of the financial and tax reporting to local authorities and Head-Office;
- Report management results and profitability by activity, and animate budget and forecast processes;
- Monitor the delivery of ITO & Finance Mexico services and support;
- Undertake necessary actions to meet quality standards by securing appropriate resources, systems and procedures to perform the service and support;
- Monitor the cost effectiveness of ITO & Finance, taking or proposing appropriate preventive or corrective measures to improve the performance.

**_b. Operational risk and controls_**_ _**
- Define and maintain Business Contingency Plan according to business and regulations requirements;
- Minimize operational failure, including but not exclusively, the risk of fraud, by implementing sufficient regular controls, by measuring operational risk and taking actions to maintain it at an acceptable level;
- Report incidents in a timely manner, defining and implementing proper remediation plans;
