**About the Team**: The Supply Chain Excellence Electronics organization is a global function and part of Commodity Purchasing within Domain S - Materials Management (MM). The team assists other departments, mainly Purchasing & Supply Chain Management, by providing tools and processes which help to execute and document supply chain activities. Furthermore, knowledge about supply chain electronics activities is shared with the organization and suppliers by providing trainings and information’s as well as guidelines. The main action fields are divided into operational and strategic activities. Operational activities are related to support ZF factories to avoid material shortages with electronics suppliers. Strategic activities are directly linked to the Part-family-strategy approach of ZF.
**What you can look forward to as a Supply Chain Expert-Electronics**:
- Lead logístical supplier development projects, support with implementing Supply Chain Continuity/ Resilience Concepts with key Semiconductor Partners.
- Global allocation and bottleneck management to maximize the use of resources and to ensure the security of supply to end customers.
- Conduct capacity studies and analysis with suppliers.
- Conduct logístical supplier audits (GMMOG/LE) as part of a logístical supplier development project.
- Improvement, consulting and optimization of logistics costs within the Supply Chain.
- Act as link between suppliers, internal departments and customers.
**Your profile as a Supply Chain Expert-Electronics**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics and Supply Chain Management in automotive industry and/or electronics business
- Experience in bottleneck management and logístical supplier development projects, ideally experiences in logistics audits like GMMOG/LE
- Negotiation skills, proactive team player, sense of responsibility, self-motivated and goal-oriented attitude
- Knowledge of MS office package, especially Excel; SAP system preferable
- Fluent language skills in English and Intercultural competencies
- Travel readiness
