PPS Battery Cell & Module Diagnostic Engineer will be Responsible to support and analyze execution of battery tray and package components within their process.
Will organize Plant & Quality resources in order to efficiently lead efficiencies on the implementation of projects during Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling and Closing processes for new equipment, trial production & launching and improving operations KAI's & KPI's.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Aeronautical, Controls, Systems, ChemEng, Physics or related engineering field from an ABET accredited/equivalent university.
- Proficiency communicating in technical English language. Highly developed communications skills.
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in automotive or related industry.
- Soft skills: Self-directed, collaborative (teamwork), ownership, sense of urgency/ agile, achiever, leadership & project management skills.
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink
- Prior experience with software development and diagnostics tools (e.g., HIL testers, CANalyzer, INCA, etc.).
- Prior experience with electrical/electronic components used in BMS hardware.
- Prior experience with BMS software development and control algorithms.
- Knowledge of vehicle communication networks and the usage of tools to extract data from ECUs for analysis.
- At least 2 years' prior experience with electrified power trains and battery management.
- At least 5 years' experience in automotive diagnostics and with the development and testing of battery systems in hybrid and/or electric vehicles
- Trained and with experience in problem solving methods like Kaizen, Shainin (Red-X), RPS.
