Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PMS Robots Specialist to join our team at Stellantis. As a key member of our maintenance and automation team, you will be responsible for coordinating the management of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, as well as standardizing SMP, SOP, Machine Ledger, and AM calendars documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the management of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance
  • Standardize SMP, SOP, Machine Ledger, and AM calendars documents
  • Ensure inventory management and spare parts availability
  • Maintain and audit compliance with maintenance activities to achieve > 90% OEE of assigned equipment
  • Develop projects to reduce transformation costs
  • Update and develop NNM projects
  • Coordinate technical training to meet required levels
  • Manage resources to prevent online production losses using SPW methodologies
  • Support and analyze execution of battery tray and package components within their process
  • Organize plant and quality resources to efficiently lead efficiencies on the implementation of projects
  • Support Toluca Battery Package as a leader within the organization
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Aeronautical, Controls, Systems, ChemEng, Physics, or related engineering field from an ABET accredited/equivalent university
  • Proficiency in technical English language
  • Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in Fanuc Robots with MH, MIG, Sealing applications
  • Soft skills: self-directed, collaborative, ownership, sense of urgency/agile, achiever, leadership, and project management skills
  • Robotguide software, simulation processes
  • Definitions and calculations of Center of Gravities and Cycle time improvements
  • Robot controller and robot arm maintenance and service with internal resources
  • Trained and with experience in problem-solving methods like Kaizen, Shainin (Red-X), RPS
Preferred Qualifications
  • The engineer will solve issues using the SPW methodology through program launches with OEM's
  • Bachelor's degree required in Robotic or Mechatronic Engineering
  • 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated growing responsibilities, good level comprehension of SPW or similar Operative Systems
  • English proficiency written and oral abilities
  • Manufacturing processes in machining or assembly, cutting tools, quality systems
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and develop the best teams while holding themselves and others accountable
  • Ability to manage and coordinate complex projects while maintaining simple communications to others
  • Must be able to make tough calls quickly and decisively while maintaining a high level of integrity
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in managing projects
  • Automotive experience
  • Participate in cross-read across-projects between plants working with the Plant and Regional CoC
  • Support MPI workshops with plants and OEM's
  • Develop studies and detailed cost estimates supporting the new projects and retools projects investment requirements
  • Support in readiness of presentations to Top management, for projects ongoing activities
  • Develop and support Appropriation Requests providing funding for approved projects
  • Lead OEM and Project Team to develop, analyze, and approve Machine and Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis
  • Lead OEM's & Plant team to achieve all of the above activities
  • Responsible for the workshop and robot warehouse based on the guidelines of the SOX law, managing based on spare parts criteria using the methodology of the 7 steps of PM
  • Administration of unionized personnel under his charge based on the internal guidelines of Stellantis and personnel management
