HSE Environmental Sr Specialist

**Objective**

Manage Environmental System.

**Main responsibilities**
- Collect and analyze information to ensure delivery of Annual Operation Certificate in a timely manner
- Schedule and execute the necessary actions to comply with current environmental regulations (NOM-018-STPS-2015)
- Development and update of methods and operational procedures for compliance with ISO 14001 & ISO 50001
- Gap analysis of the integration and execution of both monitoring and measurement programs and protocols using both internal and external resources.
- Be part of Internal Auditors Program for ISO 14001 & ISO 50001 to ensure compliance for Best in Class performance regarding Environmental aspects of Mexico operation (Participate on Clean Industry, Global, ISO 14001 Tours, ISO 50001 Tours)
- Follow-up of Non Conformities derived from External Audits: ISO14001, ISO 50001 & Clean Industry
- Analyze of Environmental KPIs to detect trends and opportunities.
- Provide active support to the Plants (plant tours, internal and external audits, document update)
- Update the documents of the Environmental Management System in order to comply with ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and Clean Industry.
- Support of consolidation and analysis of information regarding Legal Compliance reports.
- Development of Environmental projects (Waste, energy and water reduction)
- Work together with Internal Communication in Environmental matters.
- Support in the HSE Annual Week.
- Administrative support regarding purchase orders, invoices and quotations process.
- General knowledge in energy systems and efficiency improvement

**Profile requirements**

**_Education_**

Engineering (Environmental, Energy, Sustainability Sciences or engineering of other fields of physical science )

**_Languages_**

English (Advance)

**_Experience_**

3 years or more.
- Environmental sustainability program integration and execution for heavy industry manufacturing facilities
- Local, State and Federal Legal compliance in Mexico: SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, CNA
- Development and implementation of environmental management systems (ISO 14001)
- Development and implementation of energy management systems (ISO 50001)
- Design for the environment programs including pollution control technologies, pollution prevention technologies
- Design for life cycle planning schemes (ISO 14040's)
- Expertise in water, energy, waste, air emissions, hazardous substances, risk and impact management
