**What you’ll do**:
**Primary Function**:
El Ingeniero Sénior de VAVE es responsable de ejecutar actividades relacionadas con la ingeniería para proyectos de alto costo y / o proyectos de ingeniería de VA/VE. Aumente el valor a través de la eliminación de costos mientras mantiene la integridad del producto para ensambles eléctricos. Identifique y documente de manera proactiva las oportunidades de eliminación de desperdicio en todo el flujo de valor en la base de datos GPS (Hopper) incluyendo: proveedores / materiales, logística, producto, proceso de fabricación, gastos / suministros, servicios y otras herramientas de EBS de uso competente como: VAVE / ELSS / PRO Launch / EQS / 6Sigma para identificar, gestionar y completar proyectos. Comunica eficazmente a los miembros interesados en la progresión de los proyectos.

**Essential Functions**:

- Liderea los proyectos VAVE y reducción de costos desde el concepto hasta su finalización utilizando herramientas de gestión de proyectos y un enfoque práctico de la ingeniería.
- Coordinar con marketing, materiales e ingeniería, evaluar productos de la competencia y liderar la iniciativa para obtener información sobre las oportunidades de costos que pueden aplicarse a los productos de Eaton.
- Participe y dirija eventos de VAVE multifuncionales para identificar cambios potenciales y procesables en el diseño, selección de materiales, etc. que conduzcan a mejoras de costos a través del proceso de ingeniería.
- Evaluar los requisitos de certificación y validación para cambios de material, proceso o proveedor.
- Solicitar y ejecutar planes de prueba / validación por parte de ing de producto para asegurará la funcionalidad, confiabilidad (vida útil), PPAP, cumplimiento del proceso de fabricación y certificación.
- Adquirir muestras de prototipos y validación, ordenando directamente al proveedor.
- Realice cálculos de ahorro. Validar los cálculos de ahorro con el departamento de finanzas.
- Solicite capital y mantenga los gastos y gastos de capital según lo requiera el proyecto.

**Basic qualifications**:

- Título de licenciatura/Ingenieria
- Mínimo 3 años de experiência en manufactura
- Inglés intermedio-avanzado
- Conocimiento avanzado en el uso de: MS-Office, MS-Project, herramientas CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) o equivalente y habilidades de interpretación de dibujos).

- Experiência usando ProLaunch
- Habilidad para explicar y entrenar otros en los conceptos VAVE.
