Job Summary
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _
- Sr. NPI Test Engineer_
- located in Guadalajara, North Campus._
- Reporting to the Test Manager, Sr. NPI Test Engineer role involves being responsible for implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment._

What a typical day looks like:

- _ Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in the design of method of failure analysis, testing, and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing._
- _ Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with the development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, telemeter, and record test data._
- _ Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues._
- _ Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel._
- _ May develops or use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software._
- _ Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as problem solving techniques._
- _ Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements._
- _ Perform and support equipment verification and integration in production._
- _ Create and maintain process documentation._
- _ Actively search for new technologies or procedures in the test sector._
- _ Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations._

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- _ Bachelor´s Degree in Electronics, mechatronics or related._
- _ Previous experience in NPI projects._
- _ Experience as a Test Engineer in the electronics manufacturing industry_
- _ Fluent English_
- _ Strong knowledge in Python Language_
- _ Knowledge in Linux_
- _ Knowledge on telecommunication products (switches, servers, networking)_
- _ API´s platform experience_
- _ Advanced Excel_
- _ Staff Administration_
- _ Knowledge of programming languages is a plus_
- _ Develops and/or modifies test programs using various languages (i.e. Python, Lab View, Perl etc.)_
