**Position: Pre-Press Technician (Graphic Designer)**
Location: Remote (PST Timezone)
**Work Schedule**:Monday - Friday, 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM PST
**Position Summary**:
Prepares approved design artwork for production to machine and system standards. Resolves technical file issues.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Working with members of the Pre-Production and Sales departments to resolve product design and build issues before jobs leave your area of responsibility (tech).
- Set up print files for production. You will take approved designer artwork and prepare it for physical production according to both our internal standards and our machine and material limitations. You will be working on 15-25 line items on average per day (tech).
**Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)**
- Reliable, dependable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, inquisitive, dedicated, follows directions and can work independently.
- Fluent in Adobe Illustrator CC, knowledgeable in Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe Indesign CC
- Driven to explore the potential of additional programs should they benefit our workflow
- Detailed eye - can spell correctly and type quickly
- Efficiency-minded - you love the beauty of design but understand the necessity of speed and efficient workflow.
- You have patience: Constant revisions from your coworkers and customers under tight deadlines can be very trying at times and takes a patient and understanding person.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets).
**Required Education and Experience**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree preferred
