Sales Compensation Analyst INTERN

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

We are looking for**:Support for Sales**

Sales Compensation Organization in the Americas has people who can bring new ideas to the table but also support the current team who will be in the middle of closing FY21 and preparing FY22 operations which will be totally different from each other, so this Year-End and Readiness cycle will be the most challenging period for the Sales Comp organization in many years.
- Support Sales Compensation Readiness activities for FY21 and be trained in Sales Comp
- Related processes and become the new generation of Sales Compensation professionals.
- FY21 will bring new challenges in terms of new designs to compensate more aligned to as-a-service industry standards.

**Bachelor´s Degree in**:

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Foundational understanding of company's portfolios of products and services
- Foundational industry knowledge in a particular territory
- Foundational communication and negotiation skills
- Able to work and collaborate in a team environment
- Depending on role, may require hunter approach or strategic "farmer or relationship selling approach.
- Strong Excel Knowledge
- ** Responsibilities**:
Sells standard solutions for a portion or a set of assigned accounts based on defined account strategies and plans; may partner with field sales or sell independently
Creates account plan for a portion or a set of assigned accounts that are of low to medium complexity

May generate and qualify potential leads to be passed to the Inside Sales team.
Builds targeted sales pipeline.

**Education and Experience Required**:
Manages virtually (by phone, electronically or social media) a set of assigned or acquired accounts or Business Partners. Builds, maintains and forecasts sales pipeline, creates and develops account plans. Works closely with company outside sales, channel partners and/or end customers to move sales opportunities to closure. May generate and qualify leads to create new sales opportunities. Sets and executes sales strategy for assigned portion of account, territory or industry vertical.
