As a BPA Manager, R&D Intraocular Device and Medical Digital Solutions, supporting Project Win and R&D Technology Platforms, you will be trusted to drive financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities at our Mexico City location.

A TYPICAL DAY IN THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

- Executing month-end processes for Project Win, IOD, and MDS functions, demonstrating business understanding, curiosity, and effective communication.
- Leading monthly spend forecasting, including assessment of risks and opportunities.
- Acting as the financial lead for the CapEx allocation process for the IOD function.
- Leading the annual indirect TFC budget for headcount and personnel cost in related markets.
- Liaising with the Win IT financial management team and assisting in variance analysis and journal entry preparation.
- Collaborating in MFRs / QBRs, including template and deck preparation, variance analysis, insights, comments, and presentations.
- Assisting in PO troubleshooting as needed.
- Ensuring proper accounting, reporting, and control systems to achieve accurate forecasts and deliver productivity targets.
- Disciplined use of financial systems (ASPIRE, APMR, SAP, etc.) for analytical analysis.
- Owning and maintaining data integrity.
- Identifying and prioritizing process improvements to drive value creation.
- Supporting Associate Director of Finance R&D deliverables, including ad-hoc analyses and template design.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

- Education:

- BS degree with 5+ years of experience OR MS degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Skills and Experience:

- Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP and BI) with the ability to retrieve granular cost information.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and simplify complex topics.
- Proven ability to challenge the status quo and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience in multinational and matrix organizations.
- Practical knowledge of finance operations; shared service experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and passion for process simplification.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
