**POSITION OVERVIEW**

We are looking for someone to join our corporate accounting team and help us scale our financial reporting, expense management, and internal controls as we grow towards our 250,000 home goal.

We need a team member who has general ledger experience (US GAAP), wants to be challenged to develop their accounting and problem solving skills, while working to support company growth by continuously improving accounting systems, policies, and controls.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage company credit card function, including, but not limited to, cardholder management, transaction review, transaction coding, process management, and process development
- Manage the client receivables workflow, including, but not limited to, monthly reconciliations of receivable ledgers, posting bills, posting receipts, transaction research and resolution
- Monitoring & updating balances (monthly) for a variety of asset and liability accounts
- Assisting Staff/Senior Accountants with daily cash activity data entry
- Assisting the Accounts Payable team with inbox management and invoice entry
- Collaborating with operations team to gather data points, and relevant information impacting financial reporting
- Identify, recommend and initiate process improvements and enhancements.
- Participation in regular video calls to support team collaboration and problem solving

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or 3+ years of related experience
- General knowledge of US GAAP
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong Excel/spreadsheet knowledge and experience
- Strong computer skills (experience with MS Office or Google Suite is a must)
- Must be detail-oriented and a team player

This is a fully remote position so the following are also required:

- Fast and reliable internet (minimum download speed of 40mbps)
- A quiet, dedicated workspace for phone/video calls with the team
- Laptop, 2nd monitor, keyboard mouse - other software will be provided
