**POSITION OVERVIEW**
The Dispositions and Terminations Accounting Admin’s (D&T ITM) primary responsibility is to handle all financial aspects of lease terminations, including calculating and processing Resident settlements, as well as coordinating financial aspects of property dispositions, including preparing closing statements and reconciling proceeds. Additionally, responsibilities span to closing accounts for Terminating Owners making sure all transactions are completed, accounts reconciled to properly send final financials to Owners and close accounts. Finally D&T PA’s will manage sending Owners to Collections when negative balances remain unsettled. Their role requires collaboration with other Accountants and Operations roles and is essential in facilitating the smooth and financially correct closure of Resident and Owner accounts.

**Objective**:
The Dispositions and Terminations Accounting Admin (D&T ITM) is responsible for overseeing and completing the Disposition and Termination processes for a large real estate portfolio that may span multiple markets where Evernest operates. As a result, D&T ITM will need to fully understand and be able to effectively execute on the following responsibilities:
This clerk will be performing the activities described below:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Produce, Review and Send Resident Disposition Letters in a Timely Manner
- Post Owner and Resident Credits and Charges on Ledgers
- Run the Accounts Payable Function
- Review and Execute on Disposition Adjustments when Disputes are Received from Residents
- Review and Execute on Canceled move-ins from Residents.
- Review Accuracy in Financials for Terminating Accounts for a Timely Close Out Process
- Produce, Review and Send Final Owner Statements Once Accounts are Closed Out
- Research General Ledger Discrepancies and Execute Fixes in Resident / Owner / Vendor Records
- Assist the Operations Team with Accounting Issues / Communication to Residents and Owners
- Manage Owner Accounts Sent to Collections When Negative Balances Remain Unsettled
- Identify, Recommend and Initiate Process Improvements and Enhancements
- Assist in Scaling the Accounting Department as the Company Grows

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance related field
- Basic accounting skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Collaborative team player

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance related field
- 2+ Years of Accounting or Administrative Experience
- Strong Computer Skills
- Strong Communication Skills
- Meticulous Attention to Detail and a Team Player
- Ability to Meet Deadlines in a Fast-Paced Environment
- Experience in Property Accounting not Required but Preferred
- Adaptability to New Technologies and Tools in the Property Accounting Field
- The interview is fully in English and we will ask Accounting Technical Questions
- Hardware requirements: Strong Internet Bandwidth, Second Monitor in Addition to Laptop, Mouse
