**Responsibilities**:
**Essential duties and responsibilities**
- Provide coaching and guidance on all HR matters to leadership ensuring compliance to Morgan policies.
- Implement training & development to address business needs and talent development
- Educates and trains supervisors and employees on policies, processes, and guidelines in alignment with the regional HR strategy.
- Develop a performance culture by providing managers with tools and skills they require to effectively drive and manage performance.
- Drive the Total Rewards philosophy & strategy within the region
- Lead Morgan Performance Management Review cycle, ensuring business strategic plan goal alignment to individual performance plans.
- Support the leadership development and a succession strategy which enables the pipeline of future talent.
- Implement HR key performance indicator targets for the region and ensure that people and organizational targets are achieved.
- Act as change agent the initiatives to drive cultural change.
- Turn HR Data into Analytics and insights to drive decisions
- Advises leadership on employee and labor relations issues including discipline, termination, providing information to support decision making.
- Mediator, counselor, and facilitator in arbitrating disputes between employees and their supervisors and managers.
- Responsible for grievance handling and participating in union contract negotiations.
- Develops programs to enhance employee engagement and foster the employee experience, improve relations and offers employee support.
- Act proactively as a strategic business partner to identify issues or challenges and provide advice and expertise to help develop creative solutions.
Qualifications:
Education & Acquired Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Field related required
- 5+ years of experience as a human resources leader in a unionized, manufacturing facility strongly preferred
- English language: Advanced Level strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent.
- Consultative and cooperative management style but decisive
- Strong interpersonal skills and high level of emotional intelligence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Negotiates and manages conflict effectively
- Business travel required.
