The Role

Join our team as a Vulnerability Management Specialist and be at the forefront of securing Kyndryl’s customer’s systems against emerging threats and vulnerabilities. As a key member of our dynamic Technical Specialist team, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and advising customers on strategies and processes to remediate vulnerabilities, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our data.

As a Vulnerability Management Specialist at Kyndryl, you will harness the power of cutting-edge vulnerability scanning tools and manual assessments to proactively identify and prioritize security weaknesses within our customers’ IT infrastructure. Through your meticulous risk analysis coupled with Threat Intelligence, you will discover weaknesses in customers’ endpoints, servers, and even security controls themselves so the customer can remediate before they are exploited.

In this role, you will implement vulnerability scanning solutions both on customer premise, in the cloud and using Vulnerability Management SaaS. Work with innovative risk prioritization algorithms to analyze the identified vulnerabilities and implement remediation plans - collaborating closely with fellow Information Security experts to reduce our customer’s attack surface.

Required Skills and Experience

Monitoring, analysis, reporting and telemetry on vulnerability findings and mitigation through established KPIs and KRIs.

Follow-up on vulnerabilities issued through bulletins organizational.

Vulnerability mitigation prioritization defined by risk criteria (Kenna Security and Qualys).

Management and monitoring of Changes in the different technologies, environments and SW developments registered in the services, based on the ITIL model. Analysis of coexistence of interventions.

Knowledge of different technologies, including different hardware architectures (open, legacy and virtualized), operating systems and different products or solutions based on hardware from any vendor and/or operating system software from any vendor for the management and explanation of planned interventions towards those responsible for the services.

Preferred Skills and Experience

ITIL V4 certified, general knowledge of platforms and operating systems.
