We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Owning and monitoring all the applications under the OTC Clearing.
- Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of different OTC Clearing projects, preparing a technical delivery plan and ensuring timeliness are met.
- Working with global operations team, resolving queries, managing and prioritizing RTB JIRA's.
Main Activities:
- Defining scope and coverage for each release.
- Liaising with product owners and DevOps engineers for clarity on stories, acceptance criteria and testing scope for RTB tickets.
- Creating and monitoring dashboard for TOIL activities.
- Monitoring and highlighting any upgrades to the OTC Calypso Infrastructure. Preparing Vulnerability mitigation plans and working with the team to implement them.
- Defining processes and tools best suited for the project. Should have the ability to work in a DevOps & Agile fashion.
- Liaising with application vendors for clarity of requirements and actively participating in discussions on version upgrades.
- Anticipating and managing Operations expectations, fostering open and honest communication.
- Exhibiting high energy, understanding issues within the team and galvanizing others to achieve goals.
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills.
- Strong relationship management skills with proven history in dealing with stakeholders and globally distributed project teams.
- Willingness to engage with business users and key IT stakeholders outside of direct area of responsibility and manage expectations.
- Driving platform improvement initiatives like improvement of performance and production stability.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven rapid learning capability.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Requirements:
- DevOps experience.
- Strong experience on Calypso (v16 and above) and Collateral business.
- Acquired experience of migrating all the tooling and monitoring functionality whilst upgrading Calypso.
- Excellent testing skills on various modules as per business needs in Calypso.
- Exposure to various SWIFT messaging systems and SWIFT products like Alliance Access.
- Strong experience on various monitoring tools like Geneos, Splunk, Patrol, GraFana.
- DevOps & Tooling expertise with exposure to Continuous Integration and Automated Deployments using tools such as Git, ANT, MAVEN, Gradle, Groovy, Jenkins, Sonar, Ansible, etc.
- Strong Exposure on RDBMS (e.g. MS SQL, PostGres SQL).
- Scripting knowledge using Python and shell languages (bash, KSH).
