**IRC222673 **- HEAD OF EXTERNAL RELATIONS MANAGER**

At **Eni**, we are looking for a **Head of **E**xternal Relations Manager** within **Eni Mexico** in **Mexico City, Mexico**. You will be responsible for planning and implementing activities that will establish and maintain good relationships with company’s stakeholders, including Government and Public Authorities, Partners, Oil & Gas peers, etc. Focus will be on improving the Company’s image, facilitating the implementation of the Company's strategy and programs and the achievement of Company’s goals.

**As a member of** **the external relations team at Eni Mexico you will be responsible for**:

- _I_dentifying and managing opportunities and risks related to government affairs and to monitor changes in government policies and requirements that may affect Eni activities.
- Promoting the knowledge of the company and support the business by developing and maintaining relationships with institutions at the national and local level, in coordination with the Eni International Affairs Department.
- Facilitating meetings / discussions with company management and to support all departments on issues pertaining to relations with authorities and business community.
- Guaranteeing the dissemination of news on the company, its results, and its programs by developing and maintaining relationships with media agencies and resources, in cooperation with the External Communication Function of Eni.
- Supporting company management in defining the messages and relations with the media during public events, in cooperation with the External Communication Function of Eni.
- Monitoring and analysing media coverage and public perception of the company to ascertain the expectations of stakeholders.
- Planning and implementing local Identity Management initiatives in cooperation with the Identity Communication Function of Eni.
- Advising and assisting Company in managing stakeholders’ relationships according to Eni´s guidelines and Mexican laws.
- Promoting and maintaining good relations with Company’s stakeholders, including Authorities, communities, ONGs, etc.
- Advising in defining procedures and processes relevant to stakeholders’ management.
- Liaising on instruction with, and to manage relations with media, in accordance with Eni México’s internal guidelines.
- Managing the definition and distribution of Company’s information, materials, and gifts.
- Ensuring the correct preparation and control of the External Relations activities and related budget.
- Monitoring, selecting, and distributing the information on all events of interest for the Company, providing in depth analysis of the situation as required.

**This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements**:

- experience in Oil & gas industry, and at least five years external/public relations experience.
- Extensive network of contacts in the Mexican Energy sector.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of oil and gas terminology.
- Good knowledge of English, Italian would be a plus.
