Director, Network Products-Switching & Operations

Overview:
Role
- Develop and maintain a strong POV on regional market landscape, customer needs, competitor strategies as it relates to switching, in order to develop strategies and execute ideas to improve the Mastercard switching, in partnership with the markets
- Define and maintain MA’s regional switching strategy, to drive more switched transaction, including the definition and execution of strategies to capture “on-us” volumes
- Shepherd new product concepts thru the regional PME / Studio process to enable market launches and Tech’s intake process to build tech requirements required
- Partnering with cross functional business units and local markets to understand the activities that can help growth Mastercard’s ability to switch transactions, and strategies that impact the core payments network
- Partner with global and Regional Tech team to support switching activities and roadmap execution.
- Owning the relationship and engagement with business executives and market leads to ensure alignment, transparency regarding platform priorities and trade-offs
- Provide input into and influence the global product development and prioritization based on regional needs and priorities
- Be the spokesperson for the core network in the region, drive proactive internal and external communications to highlight MA’s competitive differentiation

All About You:

- Prior experience in payments required - knowledge of switching preferred
- Product management or technical experience in a regional role preferred
- Self-starter and quick learner with ability to work independently
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments; flexibility to handle rapidly changing scenarios
- Ability to work with ambiguity and manage complex projects; successfully manage multiple responsibilities and tasks
- Strong analytical, data and problem-solving skills
- Superior communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Strong visual presentation skills, including data visualization and the ability to produce clear, compelling slides
- Exceptional project management skills - strong organization and task management is expected
- Strong collaborator, ability to work cross-functionally
- Build and leverage relationships within and outside the organization to drive results
- Interact with varying levels of leadership across the organization and with internal and external clients; ability to lead and influence at all levels
