EHS Leader

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Build and maintain a positive culture of participation in EH&S throughout the site.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental and safety legislation.
- Ensure strategies are holistic and address long-term environmental sustainability, workplace conditions, management systems and behaviors.
- Maintain an effective EH&S management system for the site.
- Determines safety training requirements and provides employees with safety training applicable to their work processes
- Develops recommendations and follow-up to prevent accident and/or fire recurrence
- Conducts safety audits of facilities, equipment, and work in progress to ensure compliance with safety/fire safety standards and specifications and safety/fire safety equipment are in working condition

**Position Requirements**:

- Experience in similar position.
- Depth knowledege regarding legal requirements.
- Lead projects to improve EHS at the company.

**Competencies**:

- Fluent English.
- Works independently..
- Intercultural empathy and good communication skills
