**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Under the responsibility of the R&D Director or the Customer R&D Project Manager, The Product Expert will assist the R&D Project Manager(s) for regional and corporate accounts with the internal project management phases, including planning, executing, monitoring/control, and closing. Process Improvement Analyst for all R&D-related processes, including change management proposals, working closely with other departments to help increase interdepartmental communication and continuous process improvements.**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assists the R&D Project Managers with the internal project management phases, including planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing on corporate and regional accounts
- Interacts with the Project Managers and other departments, including sales and production, involved in the project to make sure the flow of data and communication is smooth; evaluating and eliminating hurdles in the project proceedings
- Develop or assist in the development of recipes
- Keeps a constant eye on the information flow among R&D, Sales, and Operational departments, detecting issues or challenges regarding projects, and must act on problem-solving as soon as possible with the Project Managers
- Takes initiative in driving and ensuring the progress of a project from the point of project acceptance to the final SKU
- Responsible for Project Status Reporting, including but not limited to work progress, stage of the project, additional requirements, and challenges
- Takes ownership of evaluating and suggesting continuous process improvements across the Americas R&D Organization
- Creates change management proposals and works with Master Data, QA, or other departments as necessary to improve R&D-related process flows
- Applies knowledge of process improvement, performance management, and change management in support of a well-organized, process-driven environment
- Develops process improvement solutions using principles of process excellence and related tools
- Committed to providing a safe food product
- Works within all regulatory requirements
- Ability to adhere to GMP practices and all other food safety requirements
- Life Cycle Management head for Mexico

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology Sciences, Food Engineering, or Food Science.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in the local country language and good knowledge of English.
- Experience: Minimum 3- 5 years of relevant experience in the food industry
- Project Management Certification or coursework completion would be an asset
- R&D development experience
