**SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE**

**SUMMARY**

This entry level position will understand the importance of a developing client relationships and gaining foundation level product knowledge at a local level to support the existing sales and/or service teams.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**TECHNICAL SERVICE ABILITIES**
- Providing input to client contact plan to communicate product launches.
- Acting as first point of contact for client queries and basic issues and ensuring that the client receives an appropriate response.
- Providing feedback around clients' needs at sales meetings

**ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT**
- With guidance, setting clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; using standard materials to support in providing product information, recording client information including opportunities.
- Maintains regular consistent contact with clients which generates a positive client experience.
- Listening actively and demonstrating the ability to separate the person from the problem, so bringing objectivity to the situation.
- Seeking and providing regular feedback to learn and grow.

**VALUE SELLING**
- Understanding the importance of developing a sales process and how it is managed at IMDEX eg Sales pipeline
- Identifying new business opportunities and passing them to the Sales team.
- With guidance, understands the client business and relevant market developments.

- Regularly challenges peers or superiors when the situation arises. Discussing the consequences of unacceptable behaviour and offering alternative solutions.
- Delivering on promises. Taking accountability when things go wrong and looks for ways to improve.

**RISK AND COMPLIANCE**
- Contributing to the identification of risks and compliance requirements relevant to own scope of work.
- Leading by example to promote positive risk and compliance behaviours within own scope of work.

**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Completion of Secondary education level
- Preferred - University degree, mechanic-electronic engineer / Electrical Engineer
- Knowledge with the use of Drilling Fluids
- Knowledge with the use of Downhole Navigation tools
- Ex - Driller/Supervisor preferrable
- English - intermediate level
- Interest in the mining or technology services industry
- Interest in a sales or service position and a willingness to learn new skills
- Proficient in the use of MS office
- Good written and oral communication presentation.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic

**DESIRABLE**
- University degree, mechanic-electronic engineer / Electrical Engineer
- Exposure to sales software or technology
- Experience with customers or similar in a professional manner
