The Business Analytics Analyst is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Gathers operational data from various cross functional stakeholders to examine past business performance
- Identifies data patterns & trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc.
- Recommends actions for future developments & strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies
- May be involved in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis and/or qualitative analysis
- Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders all findings
- Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities
- Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving decision strategies

**Qualifications**:

- 0-2 years relevant experience
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to work with cross-functional partners and team members

**Education**:

- Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

El área de Planeación y Análisis de Banca Privada y Patrimonial Citibanamex es responsable de proveer dirección y asesoría a toda la estructura de ventas, al equipo de estrategia comercial y a la Dirección del negocio, con el objetivo de contribuir en la detección temprana de oportunidades de negocio que direccione esfuerzos para la consecución de sus objetivos.

El Business Analytics Analyst 2 reporta al VP líder del equipo, y lleva a cabo diferentes análisis cuantitativos, proyecciones y reportes sobre resultados, en todos los níveles y para todos nuestros representantes de negocio.

Mantiene estrecha interacción con la fuerza de ventas y con el área de estrategia comercial, y funge como su principal asesor y socio analítico de negocio. Les provee de información útil para gestionar el negocio de forma eficiente.

**Funciones Principales**:

- Elaboración de diferentes reportes de desempeño de negocio, y su interpretación.
- Seguimiento y evaluación de los diferentes KPIs.
- Análisis de segmentación y de modelos de comportamiento de clientes.
- Análisis de inversiones (asset allocation), sus crecimientos e impacto en rentabilidad.

**Habilidades Analíticas**:

- Experiência probada en el manejo y análisis de bases de datos.
- Entendimiento de variables de negocio y sus impactos en resultados financieros.
- Competente para identificar tendencias y patrones.

**Herramientas y Sistemas**:

- Manejo avanzado de MSExcel, MSAccess y MSPowerpoint.
- Familiaridad con Teradata, SAS, Essbase, etc.

**Habilidades Interpersonales**:

- Pensamiento estructurado y pasión por el detalle.
- Actitud de servicio. Capacidad de relacionamiento con muy diferentes perfiles de personas.
- Probada experiência y facilidad en el manejo de números e interpretación de resultados cuantitativos.
- Capacidades de comunicación oral y escrita.
- Trabajo bajo presión.

**Conocimiento Técnico**:

- Conocimiento de inversiones y finanzas corporativas. (deseable)
- Entendimiento de la actividad comercial bancaria (Retail Banking).
- Certificación como Asesor en Estrategias de Inversión ante AMIB (deseable).
