**What do you need to apply?**
Proven experience as an integration engineer, systems integrator or a similar position working with APIs.
Experience in customer interaction, including participation in customer calls and pre-sales activities.
Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Solid knowledge of web technologies, RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
Familiarity with security protocols and standards, such as OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS and API security.
Experience working with AWS services such as EC2 and S3.
Excellent oral and written communication in English.
**Advantage if**:
Familiarity with open banking standards (e.g. PSD2, Open Banking UK) will be an advantage. This involves an understanding of regulatory standards and best practices in the open finance space.
**Your challenges**:
**Customer Engagement and Requirements Alignment**:
Participate in customer calls and meetings to understand integration requirements and align with customer expectations.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers, helping them understand the integration and address any concerns.
Collaborate with the business team during pre-sales activities, providing technical knowledge and solution demonstrations.
**Integration management**:
Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to align and implement integrations.
Configure and maintain system integrations, ensuring smooth data flow and compatibility between various systems and API's.
Develop and execute integration test plans, validate data integrity, and troubleshoot integration.
Monitor integration performance, identify bottlenecks and implement optimization measures to improve efficiency.
**Compliance and security**:
Validate API services against OpenID functional and compliance engines.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Stay up to date on open banking standards and security best practices to ensure compliance with integrations.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, and address any identified risks or vulnerabilities.
**System Administration and Maintenance**:
Manage and maintain API services.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance and scalability.
**Documentation and knowledge sharing**:
Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, integration workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
Share knowledge and provide training to internal and external teams on system integrations and usage.
Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback on feature improvements, usability improvements, and system updates.
