**Education**:

- A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or a related.

**Experience**:

- A minimum of 3 year in a procurement or purchasing role.
- Ability to assess suppliers, market trends, and pricing to make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure beneficial deals.
- Strong written and verbal communication for interacting with vendors, internal stakeholders, and different departments within the company.
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks, manage time efficiently, and prioritize effectively.
- Understanding of legal and regulatory requirements governing procurement practices.
- Competence in using procurement software (Oracle).

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to identify reliable suppliers and source quality materials or services at the best possible cost.
- Cultivating and managing relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, quality products, and favorable terms.
- Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals while ensuring adherence to company standards and legal compliance.
- Conducting risk assessments and evaluating potential suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Contributing to supply chain optimization by maintaining adequate inventory levels, reducing lead times, and improving overall efficiency in procurement processes.
- Maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and documentation of procurement activities to track expenses, analyze performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitoring costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing cost-effective measures without compromising product quality or delivery schedules.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures in all procurement activities.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing best practices, and suggesting innovative approaches to enhance the procurement function.
- Collaborating with various departments such as finance, operations, and inventory management to align procurement activities with overall company objectives.
