We have an opportunity for a HR Manager.

You will be responsible for overseeing HR activities as well as maintain a balance between worker-employer relations and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives.

They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

You will report to the Regional HR Director.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Business Partnership**:_
- Work with operations team to identify, create and implement innovative human resources solutions that enhance business performance specific to manufacturing.
- **Leadership Development**:_
- Drive talent review and succession planning processes using a consultative approach that ensures a strong talent bench.
- Work with leaders to create and ensure successful completion of individual development plans
- Equip managers with the tools and training to optimize their performance
- **Talent Acquisition**:_
- Cultivate internal talent, participating in key role promotional decisions
- Ensure local relationships to recruiters to assist in timely recruitment.
- **Employee and Labor Relations**:_
- Personnel administration, Turnover, absenteeism
- Develop a Labor strategy which includes positive labor relations training
- Participate in union negotiations. Prepare and contribute key HR data to ensure successful outcomes within the collective bargaining agreement
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations
- Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, state and local employment laws and regulations
- Ensure compliance with all Human Resource processes.

**Skills and Experience Requirement**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or the equivalent.
- 6 + years of experience as HR Manager.
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish, and have an understanding and appreciation of culture and business practices in both the U.S and Mexico.
- Advanced working knowledge in recruitment, selection techniques with a heavy emphasis on engagement and retention.
- Advanced knowledge of positive relations principles and practices. Advanced knowledge of Union practices and negotiation strategies in Mexico.
- Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining working relationships.
- Excellent written and oral communications with a facilitative style.
- Ability to plan, implement and drive the project work of teams and self with measurable results.
