In this position you will play a role by being responsible to ensure that financial risks at LA local organizations are identified and mitigated through a solid internal control framework on a timely manner.

Promote risk management culture in LA operations, handling different local, fiscal and legal implications.

Provide guidelines within the processes; focus on the fulfillment of Corporate and Regional policies, internal procedures, statutory requirements and key controls.

Reports to: Internal Control Manager

Supervises: 2

Location of the role (Querétaro, Hybrid).

**HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**
- Conduct control environment assessments including Process and Procedures evaluations throughout the organizations to ensure an efficient control framework in order to prevent financial risks and frauds.
- Performing Internal Control Assessments, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analysing evidence, and documenting processes and procedures.
- Ensure the compliance of SOX legislation according to Corporate deliverables (MRL and Section 404).
- Ensure compliance with Corporate and local reporting requirements.
- Presents insights to decision makers in a correct, clear, concise, and confident manner.
- Monitors the actions to ensure compliance with policies, standards, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Follow up to ensure Remediation plans compliance.

**YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business-Related field with previous accounting, auditing or other business related experience
- SOX / Internal Control
- English proficiency: fluent.
- Leadership skill
- Experience in risk analysis
- Strong analytical and communication skills and be detail oriented.
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
