**Ehvert Engineering Inc.** is actively looking for **Data Center Mechanical engineers (graduates and experienced engineers)** to join our team in Mexico. We design the physical facilities and infrastructure that support the computers and network infrastructure for cloud providers and other types of organisations. We design and, in many cases, manage the construction process of the facility including the complex electrical, mechanical, automation and security systems to power, cool and secure the large number of computers that are housed in these facilities.

**What will you do**:

- Design, modelling, and simulation of mechanical systems for data centers (both new construction projects and retrofits) including HVAC, Piping, Plumbing, Condensation Systems, Cooling Towers, Chilled Water Systems, Boilers, Humidification Systems
- Gain a thorough understanding and delivery of the project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule
- Understand and expedite engineering deliverables for projects
- Develop and maintain the project scope of work documentation and revisions as required during the design evolution
- Prepare detailed design mechanical drawings
- Design highly energy-efficient and sustainable systems
- Computational fluid dynamics
- Understand mechanical engineering codes and safety standards
- Use BIM tools to virtually construct mechanical systems and coordinate with other disciplines using tools such as Autodesk Revit
- Visit sites to report on status of construction, our clients’ sites are mostly located in the United States (a valid US work visa is required for site visits, facilitating travel to data center sites across the United States)
- Use laser scanners to document current state of installation

**What we expect**:

- A bachelor's/master's degree in mechanical engineering from a recognized university
- A recent graduate of a post-secondary institution
- Strong academic background and interest in pursuing careers in engineering
- Good knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes is an asset but not required
- Experience with Revit design software would be a benefit but not required
- Previous experience in the construction industry in the United States or Mexico (summer positions) will be considered an asset but not required
- Experience in Computational Fluid Dynamic software would be a benefit but not required
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Self-starters that are ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and English proficiency
- Ability to work proactively and to be a fast learner
