Job Description

We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive who is responsible for building, managing/progressing, and closing opportunities within a Mid-Market territory. This person must demonstrate all the behaviors associated with a high performance sales culture, specifically prospecting for new business, upsell, and cross-sell within our extensive install base and delivering results against a quota.

We need a sales professional with outstanding prospecting skills that can effectively create, manage, and close deals as well as navigate through complex selling environments. You will be responsible for follow-up on leads that are generated by our Inbound Marketing and as well as coordinate with our outbound Business Development Reps to close both new business and expansion opportunities.

**What you'll be doing**:
We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive who is responsible for building, managing/progressing, and closing opportunities within a Mid-Market territory. We need a sales professional with outstanding prospecting skills that can effectively create, manage, and close deals as well as navigate through complex selling environments. You will be responsible for follow-up on leads that are generated by our Inbound Marketing and as well as coordinate with our outbound Business Development Reps to close both new business and expansion opportunities.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- BA/BS degree preferred
- 3+ years of software selling experience; SaaS experience preferred
- 2+ years outbound prospecting experience a plus
- Experience selling to Director/VP+ level leaders
- Track record of success selling into mid-market companies
- Technically savvy; detailed understanding of a related CX technology
- Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, remote sales processes, and drafting business plans
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to accurately forecast monthly/quarterly metrics

**In this role, you’ll work primarily remotely with the support of a dynamic and caring team. We’ll provide you with the digital tools and experiences to be together-even when we’re apart. Being digital first doesn’t mean we’re digital only. You’ll also have the flexibility to join us at a Zendesk workspace, in one of our Zendesk offices or our flex office spaces. We will bring our people together on occasion to connect, collaborate, learn, or celebrate in person.**

Please note that anyone hired into this position must be physically located in and plan to work from Mexico City (CDMX) or Mexico State (Estado de Mexico).
